Yummy Banana Bread Pudding for Cold Winter Evenings

There's nothing better than a delectible, melt-in-your-mouth dessert to help warm you up on those cold winter evenings in front of the log fire. The banana bread pudding recipe given below will allow you to enjoy a delicious dessert in the evening without taking way too much of your family time. This is a straightforward pudding that can be made in an hour and a half (including the baking time) and is ready to eat immediately.

Items needed for this tasty banana bread pudding recipe:

Bread slices - 6-8 (white or brown, or a mixture of both)

Processed sugar - Five (5) tablespoons

Raisins - 1/3 cup

Roasted and chopped pecans - Half cup

Ripe banana - Three (3) (massive)

Eggs - 4 giant

Nutmeg powder - Quarter (1/4) table spoon

Butter - Quarter (1/4) stick

Whipping cream - 2 cups

Vanilla extract - One small spoon

To make the bread pudding:

Grease a 9 Half in. baking dish with a small amount of butter.

Warm the cooker to 180C.

Now remove the brown crust from the bread slices and cut the bread into thin fingers. Quickly set aside in open air.

Peel the bananas, cut them lengthwise, and cut in thin slices.

Brown the butter and Two large spoons of sugar in a pan on medium heat. Add the banana slices and fry them on a low heat till caramelized. Allow to cool.

Whisk the eggs in a large bowl. Add the leftover sugar, nutmeg powder, whipping cream and vanilla extract, and mix well.

Add the banana slices to the mixture.

In the baking dish, organize about a 3rd of the bread fingers at the bottom.

Arrange a layer of bananas over the bread and now pour a 3rd of the mix over it.

Sprinkle some soaked raisins and pecans on top.

Now create another banana-bread layer over the top and spread the rest of the bread fingers as a last layer.

Press gently to permit the bread soak up the liquid.

Bake in the stove for 45 minutes.

While the pudding is baking, prepare the sauce using:

1/2 stick of butter

Half cup of whipping cream

Half (1/2) cup of brown sugar

A dash of salt

Melt the butter in a pan and add the cream and sugar to it. Once everything's all mixed, add the salt.

Take off burner.

Your sauce is now ready.

To serve, cut a sliver of the bread pudding and put it on a plate. Serve the sauce in a dipping bowl alongside it.
